When you play the game of Roulette you don't compete with other players. In Roulette you play only against the dealer. 1 to 8 players can play the game at the same time. Players buy in and receive colored chips. All players have chips of different color. In the case of winning a spin the player cashes his color chips in for cash chips of a certain value.
The "En Prison" rule can be applied when you make an even money bet and the spinning ball stops on the zero. In this case you can either use your bet for another spin or you can take it. You put your bet "in prison" if you decide to leave it for the next spin. The 'La Partage' rule. When you place an outside even money bet and the ball lands on zero, you lose half your bet and you are not able to leave the remainder in prison, or out for another spin.

Once
the bets are placed on the table, a small ball is released on to the spinning
Roulette wheel, in the opposite direction to the spin. When all bets are placed, the croupier spins the wheel and a ball bounces from slot to slot until finally coming to rest in one of them. The game of Roulette starts after the players have made most of their bets by
placing them on the numbered layout. When
you are at the point that you want to place your bet, do not be concerned about
someone else having already taken your bet - chips can share bets thanks to the
colors. After the roulette wheel stops the dealer will then mark the winning number on the betting area and the bets are paid accordingly. The players who bet on the winning number or color are rewarded while the
players who bet on the losing number(s) lose their chips to the casino. (We assume it's offered at the Paris casino, because Roulette comes from France, after all. A player may bet on an entire row, with a return of 11:1, by placing one or more chips over the edge of the first number in the row, or on two rows at 5:1. Don't use dangerous betting systems like the Martingale. Unlike other casino games, roulette rounds go by quickly - just a spin of the wheel and the game is over. The ball stops in one of
the numbered pockets of the Roulette wheel. Roulette is played
on a table featuring a betting area and the roulette wheel. Most casinos have 00 on their roulette wheels to increase the odds to their advantage (American Roulette) The outcome of a game
of Roulette is determined by where the ball stops on the Roulette wheel. The roulette chips are worthless at the other tables in the same casino, so do not
bother trying to stack them under your blackjack chips or anything foolish like that. Roulette does not move at a quick pace, it is
for a more relaxed crowd than you are likely to find at the craps table. You
should remember to exchange the colored non-value Roulette chips for valued
gaming chips prior to leaving a particular Roulette table. However, if the dreaded 00 is spun, the House (the casino)
keeps all the bets. Losing roulette bets are collected and winning bets are paid. Your odds of winning a one-number bet are 37 to 1 (37 ways to lose, 1 way to win) Roulette players make bets by placing chips in various locations on the table. Roulette is a glamorous and exciting game that's easy to play. Players often choose the
bets they like to make and stick with them for a series of spins. If Red has come up 20 times in a row, that doesn't mean Black is more likely to come up on the next spin. That $20 you lost represents the house edge of 5.26% ($20 lost divided by the $380 that you bet) Once the ball has found its slot, the dealer will call out the winning
number and place a marker on that number's spot on the layout. The main goal of the roulette is to bet on the slot where the roulette ball falls. The ball falls into one of the wheel's
numbered compartments which determines the winning number. Roulette players can bet on one, two, three, four or six numbers; or they can choose to bet red or black; high or low; odd or even. Numbers 1-18 are considered
the lows; numbers 19-36 are the highs. The standard American casino roulette wheel contains two green slots: 0 and 00 (many European wheels eliminate the 00, which creates more favorable odds for players)
